It has been almost two years since we last time had the restaurant filled with a Catalan buzzing a glasses filled with Vermouth. So welcome back to part II, where we once again celebrate spring and friendships.
An evening with Catalan friends from @botiga.dk , who will be bringing Vermut from Reus and other treats sourced from Catalonia. We aim to transport you to the terraces of Barcelona. The dinner will be set like a classic vermuteria. Food will flow to the table as and when ready, drinks will be vermouth or whatever tickles your fancy.

Alexandra Bækgaard Carstensen er køkkenchef hos maduniverset Easy Peacy. Hun er udlært fra Kong Hans Kælder og har været forbi bl.a. Le Sommelier og Baka D’ Busk.
“Jeg er vokset op på køkkenbordet og ser mad i alting. Mad er mit ultimative kærlighedssprog – jeg elsker, som jeg selv er blevet elsket. Mad er både nostalgi og nye oplevelser.”
Alexandra er på grøntsagsmission, og brænder for at få enkle grøntsager, og ikke mindst bælgfrugter, til at smage af noget! Uden det store besvær. “Det skal være nemt og sjovt, ellers får vi aldrig danskerne til at spise flere grøntsager. Det vil jeg gerne bidrage til”.
Alexandra vil den 9. april fortælle om hendes rejse ind i madens verden. Fra ingen intention om at lave andet end at spise den, til at madlavning skulle fylde hele hendes verden i en alder af 21 år. Fra Michelin, hvide forklæder og høje hatte til grøntsager galore og catering på steroider. Og ikke mindst lykke. Om at finde sig egen stemme, stil og køkken og tro på det – og dele det hele med sine bedste venner.

Valencian Paella & Wine
Paella is coming to the Kiosk this Easter. We will be joined on 18 & 19 April by Eva from @rispaella who will prepare 2 styles of paella from her region — Valenciana & de Mariscos. We will be pouring a selection of Valencian natural wines, thoughtfully paired with both paellas. Space is limited so book now to experience authentic Valencian culture.
Eva explains “Paella is more than just a dish—it’s a way of life, a tradition my family has cherished in Valencia for generations. My dream is to bring that experience here: gathering around the fire, watching the paella cook before your eyes, raising a glass of wine, and enjoying the moment together, just as we and our ancestors have done for many generations before.”
She will be cooking and serving two styles, Paella Valenciana – the most traditional to the province and enjoyed by many local families every Sunday. Filled with organic chicken & rabbit, green beans, butterbeans, wild garlic, fresh rosemary & saffron – this version represents the true taste of the region. The other Paella de Mariscos – a more international version filled with a luxurious selection of fresh seafood – locally caught whole langoustines, squid & blue mussels.
Paella is a dish best served as soon as it is ready and we want to ensure that everyone enjoys the same dining experience together. We have decided to serve at four times throughout both days – two times at Lunch and two at Dinner. You can reserve a spot at Lunch at 12 & 14, or at Dinner at 16 & 18. We ask that people arrive promptly for their reservation. Come early and have a chat with Eva, grab a glass of wine from our great selection of natural wines sourced from around Valencia. Once the paella is ready we will serve everyone in a communal dining setting, all sitting around the table together at the front of the Kiosk in the spring sunshine.
Spaces will be limited, so booking in advance is highly recommended. We will only have a small amount of space for walk-ins during Lunch & Dinner both days. Payments will be taken on the day by MobilePay or Cash.
